FAQs
Some bits of information that might come in handy before you get in touch. Wondering about something else? Ask away using the form above!
General
I will get back to you via e-mail. If you are enquiring about a potential project, we can work towards arranging a free call to talk about your needs. When we chat, I’ll ask you about your business, your objectives and try to understand where I can help. Afterwards, I will follow up with a written proposal highlighting the project stages, indicative timings and costs.
If you need something specific or want to follow a different approach, please feel free to tell me in your initial message.
Most projects I work on start with a branding programme and then can evolve into websites, content, collateral, etc. I will also consider smaller projects (e.g. an ebook design), but I probably bring better value to larger-scale programmes.
They come in all shapes and sizes, and I love it that way. If you are worried about your set-up being too small or too large, it might be worth getting in touch to voice your concerns regardless. There is often a way to make it work, and if not, I’ll try my best to help you find a freelancer or agency that better suits your needs.
When working directly with clients, I generally use project-based fees. After gathering information about the business and the work required, I create a proposal that includes a detailed cost summary.
When freelancing for agencies, I work with day rates. Agencies usually have a solid understanding of how long something might take and know how long they need to book me for.
The base rates I use to calculate price-per-day and price-per-project are generally the same. But I believe it’s a lot more reassuring for a client to know what the project will cost if everything goes to plan, as opposed to having to worry about booking me for a certain number of days.
Please hit me up with a creds request! I can not guarantee I will have the experience you need, but this site only includes a few case studies. In my 10+ years around the block, I have worked on more stuff!
Recruiters and Agencies
Yes, I am. Especially to remote ones, as I am currently based in Trieste, Italy.
I am totally open to both arrangements. I have always worked agency side, and I love the fast pace and variety that agency life usually implies. However, I think some of the best work out there is currently being done in-house, so I’d love to try it out.
Designers
Portfolios are hard. Like, the hardest thing to work on. For me, at least. I’d love to hear your thoughts if you have suggestions on how I could improve this site.
Likewise, I am available to review your work or lend a hand if you are feeling stuck on something you are working on.
The fonts are Manrope and Climate Crisis – both from Google Fonts. The site is built in WordPress, using Elementor and based on a theme called Zaragoza. I didn’t follow the style and design of the template strictly, as I had previously designed the site from scratch using Figma. I started with a theme because I wanted to take advantage of the Neuron Builder, which comes with Zaragoza. It’s similar to Elementor Pro in terms of functionalities. Initially, I had considered Webflow but then decided to stick with WP. Feel free to message me for more info on any of this!
Absolutely. I love to connect with other designers. Whether it’s to collaborate on a project or to chat about the highs and lows of our job, I will be super happy to receive your messages.
Yes! I have been very fortunate as I have had some great mentors in my career, and I’d love to give back. Tell me a bit about yourself and what could help you, and we’ll take it from there!
